Do the bottles keep water cool longer?

Our bottles are made of high-quality 304 stainless steel. There’s a slight insulating effect compared to plastic and glass bottles – the water stays cool a bit longer on average.

The bottle is not double-walled, however, because it would otherwise need to be significantly larger and heavier to deliver the full 1.0 L carbonation volume. On top of that, water in a double-walled bottle would be hard to chill in the first place.

Tip for the best fizz

Cold water absorbs CO2 much better than warm water. We therefore recommend pre-chilling filled bottles in the fridge before carbonating – that’s how you get the best fizz.
